Ob stražnem stolpu so Nemci zgradili tudi bunker in izkopali strelske jarke. V ozadju se vidi obnovljena kmetija Marjana Zamana, ki so jo Nemci porušili, ker je bila v obmejnem pasu. Marjana, ki je bil takrat otrok, pa so skupaj z družino, tako kot vse druge ob nemški meji, izgnali v Nemčijo.
